Completely refurbished in 2022 and under new ownership and management, the Kings Head is an exceptional gastropub in the heart of Sutton Valence, focusing on the fresh quality of our local farmers and producers. Here you can find out everything you need to know about the King’s Head.
With a fantastic ambience that so many folk comments on, villagers and visitors alike can sample our delectable food – be that bar snacks or a full three (or four) course dinner. But the excitement doesn’t stop with our A La Carte menu, it continues with a wide range of drinks, again many locally sourced, together with our specially chosen wine list and the mouth-watering cocktail list, expertly crafted by a continental mixologist.

During the winter months, settle down in front of our roaring open fire. Alternatively, in the warmer weather, the new entrance to the garden terrace is a lovely option for a summer’s day enjoying a premium cider on tap, or maybe even a jug of Pimms!
Whether you are popping in for a cup of tea or coffee with a slice of our freshly home made cake, or sampling our ever popular Sunday roasts, you will not be disappointed.
We are fortunate enough to have sufficient space to cater for well behaved dogs (with their well behaved owners!) as well as plenty of dog-free areas for those not so keen on our furry friends.
Upstairs, we also have our Ikkadu function room which can be booked for private events – be that a family dinner for 12 or more or a full-on celebration for up to 50 friends. With its own private bar, it’s proving extremely popular.
Everything within our kitchen is freshly homemade and locally sourced by our experienced chefs who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge. Let them treat your palate and get your taste buds tingling!
